I was watching parking wars and these guys put these metal locks on the center piece of tires on cars, its some kind of lock or something. They did it to cars that the owners owed lots of money in fines. I suppose you cant drive with this on the tire, but what good does that do, does the car just sit there forever and ever? What is the point?
Also, what is double parking? They were writing tickets for double parking and i dont get what it is.

Haha cool! Its very interesting the excuses people come up with.
Oh yeah, it is called a boot, i remember hearing them call it that but i just couldn’t remember before lol its definitely not called a wheel clamp
I cant believe people just park in the middle of the street!!
So is there no way to get the boot off on your own? and when you pay the fine do they send someone out to take it off? I honestly have never seen this before now on tv.
Katie: You dont get it? Do you speak english or are you having trouble reading?

The boot! Yeah, it sits there until they pay the fine. The point is, you can’t drive your car until you pay the fine.
Double parking is when a car is parked on the curb, and another car pulls up beside it and parks in the middle of the street.
